Descent

Descent is an early stage FPS roguelike video game with an arcade style. Progress through an infinite series of levels with increasing difficulty until you ultimately fall. 

Combat takes place on a circular platform acting as an arena that descends downward through a tower. Encounters can vary from a range of challenges as you descend, but generally involving eliminating a number of enemies. Fights are completed by eliminating all enemies or surviving for a set amount of time. Players gets more powerful as they descend, collecting better weapons and upgrading their stats. After completing a level, the player is offered a choice of rewards that will increase their potency in some manner, in order to face the more difficult challenges that await below.
